London Tilda

I have not been posting cards to my blog in almost a year now and hopefully all of the upheaval in my life is over with so I can get back to work.  We have been working hard on our house and yard over the last year and I simply did not have the time to make cards and work on my blog.

I have also been working hard at organizing and cataloging all of my stamps, dies, markers, etc.  and I am pretty close to being almost happy with my efforts.  This is where my OCD kicks in.  I will post pictures on that another time, however, when it is actually clean and presentable.

I've been able to start making cards again and have a dedicated space that is no longer in my freezing cold basement.

I have a new card for you, featuring Magnolia's "London Tilda".  I love this stamp, I think that it is absolutely lovely and works for a variety of card types.  I have colored her with Copic markers.  I have added tags with shabby seam binding, flowers from WOC and Kort & Godt, Film Strip ribbon from Tim Holtz, Magnolia Doohickey Die - View Master, Prima Resin Frame and Resin Heart.  The papers I have used are Maja Design "Enjoying the Lovely Fragrance", Tim Holtz Cardstock in Milled Lavendar.

I am going to enter this card in the following challenges:
Tilda's Town "Anything Goes" Challenge
Midweek Magnolia's Challenge "Texture"
Simply Magnolia Challenges "Gorgeous Blooms"

Have a great day, I'll try to be back soon.

Mo Manning Baby Boy Card

I've been away for awhile and my computer kind of fried, but I finally bought a new one, so I'm back with some new cards.

This one features a digital stamp by Mo Manning called "New Baby Curly Hair".  I have made it for my brother and sister-in-laws new baby.  I'm not really strong with the whole boy card thing, but this is what I came up with.

Recipe:  Copic Colors:

  1. Hair - E43, E42, E50
  2. Skin - E00, E000, E0000
  3. Outfit - B99, B97, B95, B93, B91
The Banner is the Heart Banner Die from La La Land Crafts, The sentiment is from LOTV For You Circular  Sentiments.  The button is from my stash.  The cardstock is from Me & My Big Ideas.  The name of the collection is Baby Boy.

Hope you like this card.

Thanks for stopping by,
Dee
